Our Story

Founded in San Francisco in 2020, Sartori was established with a simple vision: to ground refined accessories in natural materials.

From the beginning, the collection was shaped by an appreciation for traditional tailoring, mineral surfaces, and understated design. Rather than creating ornamental statement pieces, Sartori focused on developing objects that quietly complement the texture, construction, and elegance of handmade garments.

The result was a fixed-form lapel accessory engineered specifically with tailored jackets in mind.

Its proportions and construction were carefully considered to integrate naturally with traditional lapel buttonholes — including both Milanese and machine-finished styles — while minimizing stress on the surrounding stitching and fabric.

Every piece begins as a genuine natural material.

We work exclusively with natural gemstones, minerals, shell, and volcanic glass, each selected for its depth, pattern, texture, and individuality. Stones are hand-cut, polished, and set in limited made-to-order quantities, allowing the natural character of each material to remain central to the final object.

No two stones are identical.

Alongside finished pieces, Sartori continues to study the relationship between raw mineral surfaces, refined metalwork, architecture, tailoring, and material culture — shaping a collection rooted equally in nature and design.

Objects shaped from the earth.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
